The requirements of the educational scientific research industry and ways to activate it from the point of view of educational practitioners in public education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the requirements of the scientific research industry at public education schools in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the point of view of educational practitioners. It also aimed to identify the ways to activate these requirements from their point of view of educational practitioners. To achieve these aims, a descriptive survey was designed. The study population consisted of all educational practitioners, including teachers, principals and educational supervisors, who participated in the scientific meeting entitled “Educational Practitioner in General Education” from all educational regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was held in 1442 AH via Zoom. They were (1100) participants. The electronic questionnaire link was distributed to all participants, and the responses were (965) participants. The study yielded several findings, and from that the three dimensions (personal, organizational, and qualification) are all important to the requirements of the scientific research industry in public education schools, and their order as follows: the organizational dimension come first, followed by the qualification dimension, and finally the personal dimension.
