Awareness was tested using the international tests of TIMSS. Observation cards was used as tools for data collection on a sample of (21) mathematics teachers at Bisha Education Directorate The results showed the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance α≤0.05 between the two implementations of the pretest and posttest in the two study variables of (awareness and teaching skills) in the light of the framework of TIMSS international studies in favor of the posttest. In light of the results of the study, some recommendations were presented, the most important of which are the following: Holding introductory meetings and training programs aimed at introducing mathematics teachers to TIMSS and training them on how to employ it in their teaching skills.
