Values play a vital role in the teaching and learning of mathematics, yet they remain an underexplored field in educational research. Despite the significance of studying values, the interest and focus on this field is still in its early stages/ This highlights the need for deeper investigation and broader exploration of values. Given the diversity of educational systems and the vast differences in cultural and social contexts, it is essential to develop flexible value-based frameworks. Such frameworks should enable the integration of values into mathematics education to be aligned with the unique characteristics and goals of each society. This article aims to explore a comprehensive overview of the role of values in mathematics education, emphasizing the theoretical foundations and justifications for creating frameworks. The study introduces a proposed framework designed to integrate values into teaching and learning practices, describing its origins, development process, and potential impact on the educational field. Moreover, the study also addresses the challenges that could arise during its implementation and offers practical recommendations for stakeholders, including educational systems, academic institutions, educators, researchers, communities, and development centers.
