Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of availability of online teaching competencies among computer teachers from their point of view, and to reveal the impact of some independent variables on the level of availability of these competencies among female teachers. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive approach, where a questionnaire was used to collect data. It consisted of (42) items distributed over five areas, and after verifying its validity and reliability, it was applied to a sample of (258) female computer teachers in Riyadh. The results of the study revealed the availability of online teaching competencies among computer teachers at a high degree, where the field of digital responsibility ranked first, followed by the employment, and use of technology, then e-assessment, followed by supporting students’ learning, and finally preparing and implementing lessons. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the responses of the sample due to the variables of training courses and teaching experience. In light of these results, a number of recommendations and suggestions were presented
