The Relationship of Self-Regulation Skills with distant education satisfaction among Deaf and Hard of Hearing University Students

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the relationship between self-regulation skills, and satisfaction with distant education, among deaf and hard of hearing university students, , and to identify their level of self-regulation, as well as their satisfaction with distant learning, in regards to the degree of technical mastery. 100 deaf and hard of hearing university students participated in this research by responding to two questionnaires (self-regulation & education satisfaction). Results showed a positive correlation between self-regulation and satisfaction with distant education, it also indicated a high level of self-regulation and satisfaction with distant education among our participants. Our results also revealed differences between students in the two variables according to the degree of technical mastery in favor of the advanced level.
