Abstract

The research aimed to identify the effect of using a growth mindset on academic achievement and motivation towards learning among sixth-grade students. The research followed the quasi-experimental approach to measure the impact of (growth mindset) on (academic achievement, motivation toward learning). The two research tools (the achievement test and the learning motivation scale). The sample was consisted of 30 female students, who were divided into experimental group 15 female students, and a control group 15 female student. The results revealed statistically significant differences between the two groups in the achievement test for the experimental group and statistically significant on the learning motivation scale in favor of the dimensional application to experimental group. A set of recommendations were reached, which employ the idea of a growth mindset in the educational field of the sixth grade to improve the level of academic achievement
